About 4castPlannr
4castPlannr exists because planning tools are built for analysts, and most small businesses run on spreadsheets and experience. We want the owner of a 30-person distributor to get the same quality of forecast and plan as a company with a data team, by describing the decision in plain words and getting the answer back.
What we believe
- Ease is the product. If you need to know what a model is to use us, we have failed.
- Prove it on your data. Every forecast is tested on your own history and compared with simple rules before you see it.
- Show the losses. We publish the cases where a simple rule or an existing forecast did better. You should know when not to trust us.
- Math you can check. Our software reads your request and your file to work out what to forecast, and you confirm it before anything runs. The numbers come from tested forecasting methods and optimization, and the same inputs always give the same answer.
Who we serve first
Wholesale distributors and light manufacturers with 10 to 200 employees that plan in QuickBooks exports or Excel, starting with food and beverage. Then multi-location service businesses that need staffing plans. If you plan anything from a spreadsheet, you are welcome too.
Where we are
4castPlannr is a new company. The forecasting and planning engine is built and tested on 13 public case studies, and we are opening it to the first 50 businesses with a free first forecast. Every result passes automatic quality checks, and a person looks at anything they flag before it goes out.
